PURPOSE:To obtain a perfectly closed hollow body by blow molding, by inflating the parison closed at its lower end with compressed air, thereafter closing in the parison within the mold and evacuating the cavity of the mold. CONSTITUTION:A parison 3 closed at its lower end is inflated in tube-like shape by blowing compressed air from the blow pin 2. Then, after the molds 5, 5 are clamped and the parison 3 is closed in within the mold cavity 7, the mold cavity 7 is evacuated and the parison 3 is contacted to the inner wall of the mold cavity 7. Thus, the perfectly closed hollow body like a float can be manufactured by using blow molding alone. |
