Heating boiler with a device incorporated therein for collecting the major part of the amounts of heat being wasted by the high temperature of the flue gases at the smoke outlet of the boiler. The invention comprises a heating boiler 1 with an ascending flue gas channel 5 through the circulating water 7 of the heating boiler, said flue gas channel being provided with a jacket 9, the major part of which is encompassing the flue gas channel 5 and extending a distance downwards from the upper wall of the heating boiler 10 towards the furnace chamber, having a narrow opening or a slit 11 along the whole length of the jacket. The return pipe 15 of the heating boiler for circulating water opens within said jacket and has its inlet 16 arranged right opposite the slit 11 of the jacket. The jacket is open 13 at its bottom, around the flue gas channel, and encompasses this with a gap, which is adapted to providing an adequate speed of the return water at its passage between jacket and flue gas channel. <IMAGE> |
