PURPOSE:To obtain a high density image with high transfer efficiency, by using a magnetic toner containing an electron acceptor having an electron affinity at or above a specified value. CONSTITUTION:A magnetic toner contains a magnetic fine powder, a binder resin, a pigment, etc., and further, as an electron acceptor having >=0.7eV electron affinity, 2-bromo-6,8-dinitro-4H-indeno( 1,2-b )thiophen-4-one or 2,5-dinitrofluorenone, or the like, thus permitting a high density image superior in resolution free from the background stain to be obtained with >=90% toner transfer efficiency. |
