FEEDING METHOD TO LINEAR MOTOR

PURPOSE:To lessen the capacity of a cyclo converter by a method wherein its circulating current is continuously controlled so that a leading reactive power of a phase advance capacitor and a lagging reactive power of the cyclo converter are compensated between each other. CONSTITUTION:A circulating current command value ICA is fed into a control circuit CONT-A by a reactive power control circuit QCA so that a lagging reactive current of a cyclo converter CC-A equals a leading reactive current of a phase advance capacitor CA. When an analog switch ASA is set on an (a) side with a section change control circuit SC, a load current command value ILA from a multiplier MA is fed into a control circuit CONT-A. The control circuit CONT-A controls the cyclo converter CC-A according to the load current command value ILA and circulating current command value IOA.
