PURPOSE:To improve the generation efficiency of a plant by evaporating cooling water from a fuel cell in a cooler in the cell, and feeding the steam as steam for reforming reaction of a fuel treating equipment to utilize excessive energy from the cell. CONSTITUTION:A generation plant is formed including a reactor 1 for steam reformation of hydrocarbon fuel, shift reactors 2, 3, phosphoric acidic electrolyte type fuel cell 4, heat exchangers 5 to 13, air feeding system 14, fuel feeding system 15, and cooling water feeding system 17. Cooling water 40 is evaporated to steam through a heat exchanger in the cell 4 and heat exchanger 5, a part 46 of the generated steam is utilized for reforming reaction, and the residue 43 heats exhaust gas 29 from the cell and hydrocarbon crude fuel 21 and returns to a water feeding tank 16, and is circulated by a pump 17. Thus cooling water is evaporated when the cell is cooled and the steam is utilized to reform hydrocarbon fuel, and the efficiency of the generation plant is greatly improved. |
