PURPOSE:To eliminate a defect, i.e., the low resistance to the change of temperature and to increase the reliability for an optical fiber bundle with a filter, by holding plural optical fiber bundles having an optical filter attached at the edge of at least an optical fiber between a pair of plates and at the same time adhering another plate to the side face of the paired plates. CONSTITUTION:A filter 5 is vapor-deposited at the tip of an optical fiber 3b, and other fibers 3a and 3c are held between plates 7. The epoxy resin 8 is filled between the plates 7, and then the fibers are polished. Then the fiber 3b with a filter is adhered to the side face of the plate 7. After this, a semicolumnar plate 10 of the same material and same length as the plate 7 is fixed to the side face of the plate 7 with an instantaneous adhesive, and the resin 8 is filled at a point B by making use of the capillarity. In such constitution, the quartz surface at the edge of the fiber bundle is adhered to the entire end surface of a focusing rod lens 1 with the adhesive resin 9. Accordingly, the adhered surface never comes off although the resin 9 is contracted by the change of the temperature. |
