<p>NEW MATERIAL:The peptide of formula and its salt. USE:Since the peptide of formula has human parathyroid hormone (h-PTH) activity and the antibody obtained by using the peptide as an antigen has immunological cross-activity to h-PTH, the compound is useful as a peptide for the preparation of h-PTH antibody. PROCESS:The amino acids or lower peptides are condensed together in the order of the formula, and at the final stage of the condensation reaction, the protecting group of the side-chain functional group is eliminated obtain the objective compound. The condensation reaction is carried out by the conventional peptide synthesis process, i.e. repeating the bonding and removal of protecting groups and the condensation reaction.</p> |
