PURPOSE:To execute a parallel access of plural banks, and also to use a control part effectively, by providing the control part, a control signal switching circuit, and more storage parts (bank) than said control part, in a memory device. CONSTITUTION:An address in a storage device is designated by an interface input/output signal, and its read-out or write operation is designated. In case of the write operation, unless a storage part (prescribed part among 71-78) containing a designated address is being operated, a common control part 35 sends a corresponding signal among bank control signals 21-24, to one control part which is not being operated, among storage control parts 1-4. As a result, the write operation is designated to a designated storage part through a storage part control switching circuit 39, and also an address/write date signal 37 is applied to the designated storage part from the common control part 35. The read-out operation is also executed in the same way. Except when addresses in the same storage part are selected in parallel, a parallel operation is executed. |
