PURPOSE:To prevent generation of shearing stress in a phosphor by sampling only the required amount of phosphor slurry in a container using a cylinder, the cylinder in a panel by means of an arm, and injecting the phosphor slurry. CONSTITUTION:A phosphor slurry 10 is entered in a container 11 and agitated by an agitating blade 12. On the other hand, an arm 13 which moves between the container 11 and a face panel 7 is provided and a cylinder 14 is mounted on the tip of the arm 13. A plunger 15 is provided within the cylinder 14 and can be moved in the cylinder 14 by electric signals. Then the tip of the cylinder 14 is immerged in the phosphor slurry 10. The plunger 15 is removed and the phosphor slurry is sampled in the cylinder 14. Subsequently, the arm 13 is moved to the face panel 7. The plunger 15 is pushed out and the phosphor slurry is injected in the face panel 7. As a result, shearing stress is prevented from being generated in the phosphor slurry. |
