<p>PURPOSE:To omit confirming work by dividing a single read only memory into a plurality of memory blocks, sequentially selecting said blocks, reading the blocks in a time sharing mode, and outputting the results as converted values at the same timing. CONSTITUTION:An analog input signal is converted into a digital signal by an ADC10. An AD conversion starting signal S1 and memory block instruction signals S2 and S4 are outputted from a timing signal generator. An ROM30 has memory blocks MB1 and MB2 which correspond to the upper and lower places of the converted numerical value. The numerical vlues of upper and lower places of the digital signal are stored in said memory blocks, respectively. The numerical signal (k bits) read from the block MB2 is latched in a first latch circuit 40, and the numerical signal (m bits) read from the block MB1 is latched in latch circuit 50. The outputs of the latch circuits 40 and 50 are added, and the converted value of k+m=n bits is outputted. In this constitution, since the ROM is only one, erroneous attachment to a substrate deos not occur, and the confirming work can be omitted.</p> |
