发明名称 GLASS FIBER-REINFORCED POLYAMIDE RESIN COMPOSITION
摘要 PURPOSE:To raise the resistance to environmental stress-cracking caused by metal halides, by a method in which polyhexamethylene/adipamide is mixed with an aliphatic polyamide, and the mixture is further reinforced with glass fibers. CONSTITUTION:20-80pts.wt. polyhexamethylene/adipamide (nylon 66) is mixed with 80-20pts.wt. aliphatic polyamide of a CH2/NHCO ratio of 6-11 (for the main chain of the polymer) (e.g., nylon 7 or nylon 12). Then, the polyamide resin composition thus obtained is mixed woth 10-60wt% glass fibers to obtain a glass fiber-reinforced polyamide resin composition. Thus, the resistance to environmental stress caracking due to metal halides of the resin composition can be raised without any damage to excellent intrinsic properties of the glass fiber-reinforced nylon 66.
