PURPOSE:To use the telephone call function without providing a special circuit, by providing a switching operation means, which switches the call function and the original transmission function, in the facsimile connected to a leased line. CONSTITUTION:When a facsimile is used for original transmission, the contact of a relay 11 for line control is set to the side of a contact 11B to make it possible to transmit an original from a terminal 13 for leased line connection; and when the facsimile is used for the call due to the telephone call function, the contact of the relay 11 is set to the side of a contact 11A to connect the line to a terminal 12 for leased line telephone set connection. When the facsimile is set to the telephone call mode by communication, calling the operator is started, and it is stopped if the action of the operator is detected in a constant time. Next, the operator sets the contact of the relay 11 to the side of the contact 11A to switch it, and the operator displays the busy state during this time, and the operator sets the contact of the relay 11 to the side of the contact 11B to enter into the waiting state after completion of the call. |
