PURPOSE:To prevent any crack and improve the preservation performance of a thin battery, which is sealed by fusing the peripheries of sealing plates with soldering materials, by providing a molybdenum layer on a metalized layer. CONSTITUTION:A generation element 1 consisting of a solid electrolyte 2, a negative electrode 3 and a positive electrode 4 is sealed with a ring-like ceramic, and sealing plates 6 and 7, which are provided above and below the ceramic 5 and also serve as a negative and a positive terminal plate, thereby a thin battery being constituted. Here, the peripheries of the plates 6 and 7 are fused to the ceramic 5 by means of soldering materials 8 and 9. Metalized layers 10 and 11 are formed on the upper and the lower surfaces of the ceramic 5. A molybdenum layer 12 is formed on the metalized layer 10. Metal plated layers 13 and 14 are formed on the layers 12 and 11, respectively. The inner surfaces of the plates 6 and 7 are provided with metal plated layers 15 and 16, which are fused with the materials 8 and 9 to be joined to the layers 13 and 14. |
