PURPOSE:To protect the buffer transistor of an emitter coupled logical operation circuit, by adding clamp diode to the output of this circuit. CONSTITUTION:A diode D is provided which has the cathode side connected to a terminal Vcc and has the anode side connected to one end of a resistor R3, and the other end of the resistance R3 is connected to the emitter of a transistor TR T4 for buffer, thus constituting a protecting circuit of the TRT4 for buffer. Since the diode D and the resistance R3 are connected between the terminal Vcc and an output terminal OUT, the protecting circuit of the diode D and the resistance R3 becomes conductive to prevent the potential of the terminal OUT from rising when the potential of the terminal OUT becomes higher than that of the terminal Vcc. |
