PURPOSE:To obtain a moistureproof powdery food, by adding edible fiber powder prepared by pulverizing the dried endocarp of the peel of citrus fruits to the food to give moistureproofness. CONSTITUTION:The endocarp of the peel of citrus fruits is dried and pulverized to give edible fiber powder. 3-20wt% edible fiber powder is added to a food to give a moistureproof powdery food. Royal jelly, honey, garlic, etc. is used an object for the food. A food which is already powdery becomes a moistrueproof food only by blending it with the edible fiber powder. When a liquid or a half liquid food is used, it is blended with the edible fiber powder before hot-air drying or lyophilization and the blend can be easily powdered. |
