The missile transports a system generating an explosive mixture of fuel and air, and has in its nose section (4) the fuel (5), the explosive necessary to distribute it, and a proximity or time fuse. In the tail section is a shaped bursting charge (1), together with a delayed-action fuse (8). The firing of this charge forms a flat missile flying at high speed through the cloud of fuel and air generated at the target area and thus setting it off. There can be a propellant charge (7) between the nose and tail portions, fired by a time fuse at a suitable distance before the target so as to separate them and generate an appreciable speed difference between them.
