PURPOSE:To achieve a remote side status information transmission and reception system with high reliability, by providing a remote side status information to a master station side central controller through the use of a calling transmission line only. CONSTITUTION:A remote line concentrator side remote line concentration interface device RRIU201 produces automatically the same scanning request as that produced in the process of call processing by a central controller CPU103 of a master side automatic exchanger and scans the status of a network RSN200 and a remote line concentrator side subscribers RLC210-21n periodically. After the RRIU201 converts the status information obtained from the result of scanning into the data format of an intra-station transmission line 300, it transfers the information to a master station side remote line concentration interface device MRIU101 by using the specific communication channel of the line 300 and periodically rewrites the content of a buffer memory 102. The CPU103 reads out the newest data from the buffer memory 102 if the scanning request is made to a remote line concentration side. |
