PURPOSE:To improve durability such as continuous use characteristics and achieve stabilization against environmental change by using a developer contg. fine powder of silicate coated with alumina. CONSTITUTION:An electrostatic holding body 1 holding electrostatic images on the surface and a developer carrying body 4b carrying an insulation characteristic developer 11 on the surface are disposed by providing a certain spacing in a developing part. The developer 11 contg. fine powder of silicate coated with alumina is carried on the body 4b to thickness smaller than the spacing, whereby the developer 11 is transferred to the body 1 in the developing part and developing is carried out. |
