A driving member (1) moves the locking members in and out of engagement. A second driving member (2), which can be actuated independently of the first, works with it so that when the first one is engaged, the second moves a first locking component (3) to prevent all movement. On moving this locking component into a second position, the second driving member then encounters a second locking component (4) moved by the first driving member and in a first position. When the first locking component is in its second position, the first driving member is movable into an intermediate position between the engaged and the free positions of the locking members (10), in which its further movement is prevented by a third locking component (5) moved by the second driving member. The second locking component is then in a second position in which the third can be moved by the second driving member into a further position, which enables the first driving member to move into the open position of the locking members.
