PURPOSE:To eliminate unevenness in print density while reducing outer circuits to the minimal possible rate, by counting the number of current-applied elements of a thermal head, and changing a current-applying period to the thermal head in accordance with the number. CONSTITUTION:The same signal as a input to a shift resistor is inputted into the data-inputting terminal D and the clock-inputting terminal CK of a counter 4, to count how many ON signals are inputted from Darlington transitor. The count value is inputted into a control circuit 5, so that the ON period of a transistor Tr in a common drive circuit 2 is elongated or shortened in response to the inputted count value. By said control, the temperature of a heating element can be regularized. |
