PURPOSE:To provide a recording thermal head of which quality and a yield are improved as well as a material cost is inexpensive and process simplification is enabled and which is used, especially, in a facsimile printer or the like by forming a heat storing glass layer and an insulative glass layer on a same plane. CONSTITUTION:A crossover wiring conductor 5 is formed on an alumina base board 1 and, further, an insulative glass layer 4 which doubles as a heat storing glass layer 2 is formed thereon. The glass layer 4 has capacity as a heat storing layer in a part forming a heat generating resistor 6. Subsequently, an electrode conductor of the heat generating resistor 6, the heat generating resistor 6 and an abrasion resistant layer 7 are formed successively. |
