PURPOSE:To obtain a small amount of transfer sheets abound in varieties with high efficiency at a low cost, by shaving off a color material at unnecessary parts only from the surface of raw transfer sheet material, whose whole surface is precoated with a transferring or printing color material, in a blasting process so that a necessary pattern is developed by the residual color material. CONSTITUTION:For instance, a raw transfer sheet material A is prepared by applying and bonding a transfer or printing color material 2 to the whole surface of a blank sheet 1. The part 2a of the color material at an unexpected part only is shaved off from the surface in a blasting process, and a monochrome pattern is developed by the residual color material. Thus, the titled transfer sheet C is obtained. In this case, a mask B corresponding to the pattern is preferably used to inhibit injection of grinding particles onto the color material at a part necessary for expression of the pattern in the blasting step. For another instance, raw transfer sheet materials A1, A2, A3 prepared by applying and bonding transfer or printing color materials 12, 22, 32 having different tones to the whole surface of each blank sheet 11, 21, 31 are put in layers together, and the part of the color materials at unnecessary parts are shaved off in the blasting process so that a multi-colored pattern is developed. |
