A badminton shuttlecock and a racquet are provided with mutually adherent pieces capable of adhering to each other when brought into contact with each other. The adherent pieces, for example, could be a combination of a permanent magnetic piece and an iron strip, or a "Velcro" (R.T.M.) fabric piece and a Velcro fabric strip having adhesive bristles.
