<p>The mechanism is intended for placing heavy, e.g. 100kg bags to form a high stack and moving bags from such stack. It comprises a longitudinally movable portal bridge (1) with a laterally movable crab (2) carrying a laterally up and down swivelable outrigger (3) with conveyor belt (4). The end of the outrigger is provided with a second belt (6) to clamp bags between itself and the reversing end of the belt (4). These belts (4,6) connect to a further belt (7) which is independently swivelable and leads to a platform (8) movable to deposit bags on the stack. A gripper (10) above the platform can be actuated (9) to pick up bags from the stack and place them on the belt (7).</p> |
