Tomograph synthesising system - positions dispersed light aperture device to select recording area for light from different positions

A tomosynthesising arrangement forms visual images of an object successively illuminated from different positions by a source using a fixed recording medium on the opposite side of the body. The recording medium receives only a small fraction of the dispersed light from the body. An aperture arrangement (6) is placed between the object (3) and the recording medium (4) so as to fully cover the body. It has apertures (7) which only permit light from certain groups of source position (P1) to pass to the recording surface. The aperture arrangement has a number of fixed apertures equal to the number of beam source positions per group. These can be suitably positioned by moving the aperture device.
