<p>5-Chlorobenzoxazol-2-yl oxy acetic acid amide derivs. of formula (I) are new. In (I), R1 is opt. halo substd. 1-5C alkyl, 3-5C alkenyl, 3-5C alkynyl, cyano-(1-4C)alkyl, 1-4C alkoxy-(1-2C)-alkyl, 3-6C cycloalkyl or phenyl-(1-2C)alkyl; and R2 is opt. halo substd. 1-5C alkyl, 3-5C alkenyl, 3-5C alkynyl, cyano-(1-4C)-alkyl, 1-4C alkoxy-(1-2C)alkyl, 3-6C cycloalkyl, phenyl-(1-2C)-alkyl, or Ph, opt. substd. with Me, F, Cl, Br, CF3, MeO and/or NO2; or R1 and R2 together with the N atom to which they are attached form opt. Me or Et substd. pyrrolidyl, piperidyl, 2-methyl-, 3-methyl-, or 4-methyl-piperidyl, 2,4,6-trimethylpiperidyl, opt. Me-substd. morpholinyl, perhydroazepinyl, indolinyl 2-methylindolinyl, opt. Me or Et substd. perhydroindolyl, opt. Me and/or Et substd. 1,2,3,4-tetrahydroquinolyl, opt. Me and/or Et substd. perhydroquinolyl, or is the gp. (II) or (III). (I) are herbicides, effective against both mono- and dicotyledons. (I) have good selectivity and can be used esp. in cotton, soya bean, beet and cereal (e.g. wheat and rice) crops.</p> |
