Combination pocket calculator and note-pad for fuel consumption - contains previous average consumption values for chronological recall

A small computer for determining the average fuel consumption of internal combustion engines in vehicles has an input keyboard for the distance covered and fuel consumed and a display unit (14). The computer (MC) calculates the quotient of fuel consumed to distance covered and multiplies it by a reference distance. It is a single, simple and cheap small computer combining a pocket calculator and note pad which enables the average consumption for preceding fill periods to be recalled in chronological order using a recall button. When an average fuel consumption value has been determined it is entered via a memory key (16). During this operation previously stored values are retained and can be displayed by repeated recall button operation. A further button can be operated to cause an overall average consumption value to be formed and displayed. The memory and recall functions can be performed by the same button.
