PURPOSE:To contrive the improvement in yield by a method wherein grooves are formed deeper than one P-N junction on a polychromic luminous element substrate having P-N junctions and then oblique evaporation is applied to the grooves from either right or left and dicing is done by forming metal electrodes. CONSTITUTION:Grooves 23 are formed deeper than one P-N junction on a polychromic luminous element substrate 18 having a plurality of stacked P-N junctions. Oblique evaporation is applied to the grooves from either right or left to form metal electrodes 24 and then dicing is done along the side walls facing to the evaporation direction. In this way, no junction leakage current will be produced and yield can be improved. |
