PURPOSE:To perform a catalytic reaction in fluidized bed while keeping the flow of substances in a reactor in a plung-flow state by using a long slender tube of a specific inside diameter for a small-size fluidized bed reactor. CONSTITUTION:In a small-size fluidized bed catalytic reactor, used for the performance test, etc., of catalysts, a long slender tube of a inside diameter 3-4mm. is used as a reactor 1. A fluidizing gas is sent to a catalyst storage container 3 and a heater 2, whereupon a plug-flow state is kept in the fluidized bed and efficient fluidized catalytic reaction can therefore occur between gas and solid. Thus, even in such a small-siz reactor, the same results as in large-scale reactors can be obtained. |
