PURPOSE:To obtain a carrier which is highly durable, and has uniform conductive surfaces by using alkylsulfuric ester or polyoxyethylene alkyl ether sulfuric ester as the resistance controller for a carrier coating resin. CONSTITUTION:A known coating resin such as a styrene-butyl acrylate copolymer or a fluororesin and the surfactant of alkylsulfuric ester or polyoxyethylene alkyl ether sulfuric ester type expressed by the composition of the formula (R is C7-C18 alkyl groups, n is integer) are dispersed in a solvent (toluene, xylene, MEK). This dispersion is applied on the surfaces of a carrier such as iron powder by a spray dryer method or a fluidized bed method, and the powder is granulated after drying, whereby the coated carrier is obtained. |
