PURPOSE:A refrigerant preventing water from freezing in a refrigerant circuit and a metallic material from corroding, and particularly suitable for a automobile air conditioner, etc., which is prepd. by the addition of methyl alcohol and 2-mercaptobenzothiazol to refrigerant Flon R-12. CONSTITUTION:Methyl alcohol (B) and 2-mercaptobenzothiazol (C) are added to refrigerant Flon R-12 to obtain the titled refrigerant. It is pref. to add 0.003-1.0wt% component B and 0.005-0.5wt% component C, each based on the total of the refrigerant obtd. The component B increases an amt. of water soluble in the component A and at the same time dissolves the component C, and the component C is effective for preventing a metallic material in the circuit from corroding. |
