PURPOSE:To obtain an even and high-contrast picture which is faithful to an original with no tailing nor tipping, by affecting the magnetic field of a magnetic roll having a turning direction different from a development magnetic pole roll to an approximate area between a photoreceptor drum and a development sleeve. CONSTITUTION:A cylindrical development sleeve 22 is provided close to a photoreceptor drum 21, and a magnetic pole roll 23 which turns clockwise is set into the sleeve 22. A conductive toner 30 is controlled to a certain thickness by a pike height control plate 21 and receives the electric charge injected from an earth 29 during development to carry out the development. On the other hand, another magnetic pole roll 27 is provided in the drum 21 to turn in the opposite direction to the roll 23. This 2nd roll 27 functions to offset the turning moment which is applied to the toner by the roll 23 in the sleeve 22 and also can be provided outside the drum 21. |
