PURPOSE:To regenerate a powdery ion exchange resin in good peelability at a high separation speed by immersing the mutually bonded powdery ion exchange resins in an electrolyte solution of which specific gravity lies between that of both resins. CONSTITUTION:A powdery ion exchange resin E comprising mutually bonded plural powdery cation exchange resin and powdery anion exchange resin is immersed in an electrolyte solution of which specific gravity lies between that of both resins to form a slurry. Subsequently, the said slurry is subjected to centrifugal separation by a centrifuge. Then, both resins bonded in the electrolyte solution are peeled and, at the same time, ions adhered to both resins are removed. As described above, both resins are easily separated and the above described process is a regenerating method with excellent operation property. |
