PURPOSE:To simplify the constitution of a driving device, by displacing and driving an objective lens from the optical axis direction, and the direction shifted from the direction meeting at right angles with the optical axis. CONSTITUTION:A light beam 9 radiated from a light source 8 is made to parallel light beams by a collimation lens 10, they pass through a polarized beam splitter 11 and a 1/4 wavelength plate 12, and after that, are focused by an objective lens 13, and a focus S is formed on a track of an information recording carrier 14. Its reflected rays are made incident to the first photoelectric detector 16 and the second optical detector 17, and a tracking error signal and a focus error signal are outputted, respectively. The first actuator 18 is driven by a difference signal between the tracking error signal and the focus error signal, and the second actuator 19 is driven by its sum signal. The respective actuators 18, 19 drive the objective lens 13 through their connecting bodies 20, 21, respectively. |
