<p>1. An ignition coil for an internal combustion engine, particularly for motor vehicles, the ignition coil being of the type including a closed magnetic circuit (1), primary windings (4) and secondary windings (5) surrounding an arm (6) of the circuit (1), and a permanent magnet (2) disposed in an arm (3) provided with a magnetic flux shunt circuit, characterized in that the magnetic flux shunt circuit is contituted by mild steel plates (7 and 8) disposed on either side of the arm (3) ; in that insulating plates (9 and 10) of thickness d are interposed between the plates (7 and 8) and the arm (3), in which the magnet (2) is disposed ; in that the plates (7 and 8) and plates (9 and 10) hold the permanent magnet (2) and the arm (3) together through known assembly means (11 and 12), and in that at least one of the plates (7, 8) has an extension (7a, 8a) provided, at least, with an opening for fixing said coil to the vehicle.</p> |
