<p>PURPOSE:To enable compensate a wheel diameter, shift of a shaft weight, etc., automatically, by providing three-phase invertors at each induction motor as a main motor. CONSTITUTION:Three-phase alternating current generated by a main generator G driven by a diesel engine DE is supplied to induction motors M1-M4 through a main rectifier MRf and three-phase invertors SIV1-SIV4. Slipping frequency f2, as an instruction signal of torque, is converted to f'2 by a wheel diameter compensating device DC. When actual speed fn of the motor M exceeds reference acceleration alpharef, an acceleration limitter AL interpretes f'2 as slipping and regains the adhesion by saturating the instructed frequency fn+f'2. A compensating switch WC of shift of a shaft weight controls the slipping frequency f'2 in accordance with the shift of the shaft weight when the locomotive starts on a slope and prevents the locomotive from slipping. A current controller CC transmits a deviation signal of the current.</p> |
