<p>An automatic banking or teller machine (ATM) having a plurality of diverse-function, sealed, tamper-indicating containers which are in locked condition when loaded therein including a depository container, a divert container and one or more note containers. The containers while being loaded into the ATM have doors for access openings opened to provide ATM operative status with the containers locked to the ATM. Interlocks are provided between the containers, container locks and the ATM so as to require a predetermined sequence of assembly or disassembly operations to be carried out in assembling or disassembling the containers, without variation or omission.</p> |
