PURPOSE:To recoginize the normal operation state of a receiver by the user, by searching and detecting radio waves disturbing a desired freqiency and by displaying the searching state on a search information display device by the detection output to indicate the writable state. CONSTITUTION:A search information display device 23 and a memory enable indicator 28 are added to a control device 17. In this receiving device, a programmable divider 12 is controlled by the device 17 to search radio waves disturbing a desired receiving frequency in the band vertically with the desired frequency as the center, and these radio waves are detected by a level detector 9, and the gain is controlled by search information. During this search operation, the device 23 is lit to display the search operation under the control of the device 17, and the indicator 28 displays the writable state. Thusm the user does not feel anxiety unnecessarily for the fault of the receiver through much time is spent upon the search processing. |
