PURPOSE:To correctly measure a wire extend tension, by a method wherein a tester is provided with an aligning disc, which is attached to a stationary frame and is of a thrust bearing structure, and a frame which is erected at a moving part rotatably connected to a stationary part. CONSTITUTION:A pair of guide rails 21, made of a channel steel and serving as a stationary frame, are situated in parallel to each other at an upper end of a rear machine frame of a detector for wire extend tension. A toroidal aligning disc 23 is mounted on the guide rails 21 so that it can horizontally move along the guide rails 21, and a thrust stationary disc 24, movably guided by the guide rails 21, is formed at the upper part of the aligning disc 23. The thrust stationary disc 24 stably supports a thrust stationary disc 25 so that the disc 25 can turn horizontally. This constitution permits a detecting member to follow a horizontal displacement in position of a conductor which is extended, which results in enabling to perform an accurate measurement of a wire extend tension. |
