PURPOSE:To allow power steering in stopping state by making steering device operatable in standing status or inertia running status of car whenever the driver wants to steer the car. CONSTITUTION:The power steering operation motor is connected to the oil pump 2 so that power assist is obtainable by the driving of the motor 1. The DC-motor can change its rotation by changing the current flow direction to the forward contactor 5 and backward contactor 6 and so change the forward and backward movement of the car. A micro-switch 21, which is switched ON when the brake is made OFF, is installed in the circuit connecting the key switch 9 and the coil of the forward switch 7. The switch 23 for the separation means is made to interlocks with backward swtich 8. The switches 7, 8 are OFF condition under inertia running condition, however, switch 21 is ON during the brake is released, and the motor 1 is driven to operate the pump 2. |
