Room for heat treatment of patient - includes infra-red source for raising patient's internal temp. after blood transfusion

The heat treatment unit comprises a room which can be hermetically sealed. A compressor supplies the room with a respiratory gas which is slightly pressurised. An infra-red emitter is used to raise the patient's internal temp. The unit is esp. for patients who have undergone complete blood transfusions. The increase in temp. and pressure of the environment and the blood produces improved oxygenation of the body tissue.
