The ends of coupling pieces (26, 29), on which the espagnolettes engage, are guided on the two legs (4', 4'') of an angle piece (3). The mutually confronting ends of the coupling pieces (26, 29) are connected to one another by means of a stirrup-shaped articulated piece (22) which is guided displaceably in longitudinal slots (8, 13) of the legs (4', 4'') via bolts (23, 24). For the purpose of improving the corner deflection, the longitudinal slots (8, 13) have a differing curvature (8', 8''; 13', 13'') and a differing length. Moreover, they extend at an inclination relative to the longitudinal direction of the legs (4', 4''). The slot ends (10', 18') assigned to one end position of the articulated piece (22) are at a greater distance from the inside of the leg (4' or 4'') than the slot ends (10'', 18'') assigned to the other end position. <IMAGE>
