The invention relates to a prefabricated structural element for buildings which is prefabricated in its entirety in the workshop and, on the building site, is fitted together with further, identical structural elements to form an entire building which is particularly suitable as a storing and parking shed, garage or the like. The aim of the invention is to reduce the construction and assembly outlay of dismantleable buildings, to permit a largely problem-free assembly and to avoid restriction of the usable interior space. This is to be achieved by means of a prefabricated structural element which can be collapsed to form transportable dispatching units and permits the design of lightweight buildings with flat or planar roofs. Moreover, erection to form a stable building which can be assembled is to be possible without additional arrangement of special connecting rods. In order to form said structural elements, roof and wall segments which are prefabricated in their entirety and comprise frame and cladding panels are connected to one another, by means of specially designed articulation means, such that it is possible for the element to collapse and to open up again automatically for assembly.
