PURPOSE:To remove moisture and increase the strength of a positive electrode by kneading and making into a sheet, at a specified temperature, a mixture of iron disulfide, a conductive materal, and a binder, which are heat-treated at a specified temperature, and then-treating at a specified temperature the sheet formed into a shape, for example, through punching process. CONSTITUTION:A mixture of iron disulfide powder, conductive material powder, and polytetrafluoroethylene powder acting as a binder, which are heat-treated at a temperature in 200-350 deg.C range, are kneaded, made into a sheet at a temperature in 70-320 deg.C range and formed into a shape, for example, through punching process. The sheet is heat-treated and dried at a temperature in 200-300 deg.C range and completed as a positive electrode 1. For example, iron disulfide powder, graphite powder, polytetrafluoroethylene powder, which are heat-treated at a temperature in 200-350 deg.C range are mixed with a V-mixer, kneaded at 120 deg.C and pressed into a sheet with a roller at 100 deg.C, and punched, and dried for 5hr at 220 deg.C, and then completed as a positive electode 1. The above processes can provide a positive electrode free from craksro beakage by increasing strength, and improved shelf life and discharge performance, after removing moisture. |
