PURPOSE:To facilitate the adjustment of a gap between a rotary scroll and each of a pair of stationary scroll vanes and to reduce the abrasion of the scroll vanes by a method wherein the adjustment of the amount of eccentricity of rotary scroll vane, and the adjustment of the phase angles and the axial positions of the stationary scroll vanes with respect to the rotaty vane are made possible. CONSTITUTION:A rotary scroll 1 has an end plate 5 and a scroll vane section 6 formed integral with the end plate 5 and arranged on both sides of the latter and a pair of stationary scrolls 9 and 10 are arranged in such a manner that they sandwich the rotary scroll 1 therebetween. Both of the stationary scrolls 9 and 10 are connected by a distance 11 and the connected whole is fixed to a casing in such a manner that it is made movable in the axial direction to some degree and rotatable, too. The phases of the stationary scrolls 9 and 10 in the rotational direction are determined by a fixing device 14 and the gap between them is adjusted by a gap adjusting device including a female screw sleeve 21. Further, the amount of eccentricity of the rotary scroll 1 is adjusted by an eccentricity adjusting device provided with an eccentric sleeve 27. |
