Accordingly an intermediate tone image of a high tone wedge and high image resolution is obtained with use of dither matrix image elements of a number of levels of brightness of 2X(2X2)+1 tone wedges in comparison with 2X2+1 tone wedges in the brightness of 2 steps. |
