PURPOSE:To obtain a coupler which is excels in airtightness, mechanical environment resistance and workability, by connecting a photoelectric transducer and an optical fiber via a connection part having high flexibility and submission property. CONSTITUTION:The aperture part of a coupler main body 13'' in which a lens 11 and an optical fiber 12 are previously received the matching of optical axis and positioning are made flexible by using annealed copper, etc. or giving folds. First, a laser diode 2 is fixed with a coupler 1'' by means of solder or an adhesive 14''. Then the optical axis is matched between them while actuating the diode 2, and the displacement is still maintained even in case the external force is eliminated. As a result, the airtightness, the mechanical environment resistance and the workability can be enhanced for a coupler. |
