PURPOSE:To always return a scanning system to the same position, by extending an operation time of a driving means of the scanning system in accordance with a return time of the scanning system. CONSTITUTION:A transistor TR3 is turned on by a return signal sent from a control part, a return clutch CL is turned on, and return of a scanning system such as a copying machine, etc. is started. As a result, a relay RA is turned on, a contact RA-a is closed, a transistor TR1 whose base becomes high potential is turned off, a capacitor C is discharged, and in case when a return time is short at the time of returning from a short distance, the on-period of the clutch CL is extended from a constant position until the scanning system is returned at a constant speed in accordance with a time constant decided by the capacitor C and a resistance R5. Accordingly, even in case when the return distance is short, the scanning system is returned to the same position without stopping before reaching the fixed position by low inertia. |
