<p>The stopping device is for a dog which has broken free from its lead, and comprises a folding anchor fixed to the end of the lead. The anchor can consist of a round bar, to which a number of hooks are attached by splitpins, the hooks being curved and with protruding edges. They can be thrust apart by a spring fitting in a hole in the bar, and at the end of the latter there can be a screw thread accommodating a magnet and a locknut. The bar can have two attachment eyes (11), and can taper from the forward end to the screwed one. b.</p> |
