The tool of a C-frame press is intended for the cold bending of thick-wall pipes, which have a ratio of wall thickness to outer diameter of more than 0,06. The hydraulic press ram is connected via boom (14) to an upper die half, which consists of a pressure bending jig. The upper die is connected via a column guide to a lower die half on the press bed. The lower die consists of an upper pair of bending rollers (3,13), and a lower pair of finishing rollers (5,15). The rollers are at relative adjustable distances, and are fastened to the outer members (9,10) of a four-bar linkage (9-12). Two links (8,4) are located in the symmetrical line (22), parallel to the axis of the column guide. The link (4) facing the upper die is connected to a bearing support (7), while the other one (8) is fastened to the lower die via a bearing block.
